The development of one’s own safety and one’s own SELF ESTEEM
The game is an incredibly effective tool to strengthen the child’s self-esteem because, in the context of the game, the child has the opportunity to socialize with the other children. Self-esteem is stimulated by the non-judgmental context that characterizes the game: the healthy “free-for-all”.

3. The importance of FUN
The real secret of a “special game” is, just like in a cooking recipe, to mix all the ingredients, including for example the “tension” of the game and moments of leisure, remembering that first of all the game must relax , get away… and above all it must entertain!

4. The discovery, or rediscovery, of PHYSICALITY and the pleasure of concrete tactile perception
We do not mention Montessori, because everyone does it, while we want to be as different as our games, but the value of experience is fundamental. In all our games the components are designed to enhance the colors, the materials and the shapes, to stimulate emotions, memories and sensations.

5. Respect for the RULES
Having control is a mental function, while children are not used to stopping. It is important to give them a container, the game for example, that helps them regulate themselves, also because a child who does not follow the rules is an unpleasant child for everyone. The adult must play to win; not for competitiveness, but to teach the child that in order to play we must follow the rules: we must not let him win just to avoid the probable “tantrum”.

6. The value of SOCIALIZATION
Socializing, with the game, means this: while playing, in between a roll of dice and a spin of an arrow, a right question and a wrong answer… exchange, laugh, tell, relive, remember, put on the table your experience and share it with other people.

The French philosopher René Descartes said COGITO ERGO SUM: I think therefore I am. Our philosophy of educational play is summarized by the statement LUDO ERGO SUM: I play, therefore I am! The game is, in our opinion, a unique tool for children, because it attracts and “conquers” them , letting them participate in a playful experience […]

["post-2379","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
